X-Openclaw is unsigned — we haven't purchased an Apple Developer certificate ($99/yr) or a Windows code signing certificate. This means your operating system may show a security warning when you try to install it. This is normal and the app is safe to use.

🍎 macOS

You'll see: "X-Openclaw" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

  1. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security
  2. Scroll down — you'll see: "X-Openclaw" was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer
  3. Click "Open Anyway"
  4. Enter your password to confirm

🪟 Windows

You'll see: Windows SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting.

  1. Click "More info"
  2. Click "Run anyway"
  3. The installer will proceed normally
