X-Openclaw is unsigned — we haven't purchased an Apple Developer certificate ($99/yr) or a Windows code signing certificate. This means your operating system may show a security warning when you try to install it. This is normal and the app is safe to use.
🍎 macOS
You'll see: "X-Openclaw" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.
- Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security
- Scroll down — you'll see: "X-Openclaw" was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer
- Click "Open Anyway"
- Enter your password to confirm
🪟 Windows
You'll see: Windows SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting.
- Click "More info"
- Click "Run anyway"
- The installer will proceed normally
💡 The source code is available on GitHub. We plan to obtain proper code signing certificates in a future release.
